Minecraft uses the virtual Minecraft world to facilitate team-based activities and individual assignments with a focus on developing and practicing social skills. This group encourages individuals to share their knowledge, skills and ideas in Minecraft with each other, reinforcing concepts of mutual respect for others. Individuals are supplied with individual iPad’s linked through an internal server, so even when working individually, participants need to communicate to explain their creations.
This activity can be combined with Wallis Cinemas to create a full day activity. If you would like to combine these groups, there is an additional charge of $22.41 in addition to the two group costs for care during this time. We ask that you please provide your child with a packed lunch to enjoy during this time.

9:00am – Participants are asked to arrive at PAHS promptly so staff can explain group rules and walk to the bus stop to catch the public bus at 9:05am.
9:35am – Participants arrive at Noarlunga Centre Interchange and walk as a group to cinemas.
9:40am – Participants will have 20 minutes free time where they are welcome to purchase popcorn from the candy bar or enjoy a snack from home.
10:00am – movie screening!
12:00pm – Participants will walk to Noarlunga centre interchange to catch the bus back to PAHS for a 1:00pm pickup.
