Prior to starting with PAHS, Jenny worked for nearly 10 years in an educational support role at a local high school. This employment had her working with students with Autism or other social, mental and minor physical disabilities, while specialising in Asperger Syndrome. She also spent majority of this time assisting 15 to 25 year olds achieve either their education, work or life goals.
Jenny loves spending time with her family including her grand kids as well as friends. She also enjoys bush camping, relaxing around campfires, kayaking, walking, nature and fishing off a jetty or from her little dinghy. In her free time Jenny loves drawing, painting and some craft, doing puzzles and playing card or board games.
Apart from the obvious required clearances, for example; Child Related Employment Screening (DCSI), Disability Services Employment Screening (DCSI), Responding to Abuse and Neglect and First Aid; Jenny also has a introduction to working with individuals who have self-destructive behaviours certificate.
