Experience and Background:
I have a background in both aged care and community work. I completed my certificate 3 in individual support by 17 and was working full time in an aged care facility. I have experience in both the dementia unit and palliative care and a background in supporting both high and low care facilities. I then went onto community work with older clients, until I supported a young child with both autism and cerebral palsy and fell inlove with that line of work. I now work with young clients with both high and low functioning autism and have experience, in school holiday groups including day trips and camps. I also work in a major hospital, within the operating theatres.

Interests and Hobbies:
My hobbies and interests include, reading, I love a good book. Cooking, cleaning, outdoor walks and camping. I have always lived close to a beach so I love to spend my free time there. My wind down activities include, yoga, meditation and a good Netflix show. I have a large background in dancing and netball. I love my Nintendo switch a play games from Mario kart, to the legend of Zelda.

Qualifications:
Qualifications: A certificate 3 in individual support, first aid: hltAid001, hltaid002 And hltaid003, basic life support (including cpr), I hold all Dhs current clearances, working with children, vulnerable people and aged care sector. Current in manual handling and hand hygiene. Currently undertaking a bachelor of nursing at flinders University, in my second year.

Other Relevant Info:
Once I’ve completed my degree in 2024, I would love to be a scrub/scout nurse in the operating theatres, but I would also love to continue my community work with my clients as it’s very important to me and it’s both rewarding and fun.
