Experience and Background:
Having worked in the community as a Disability Support Worker for over four years, I have developed a strong commitment to providing care to individuals with a variety of disabilities. Dedicated to assisting individuals at home and supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs. Aiming to encourage autonomy and empathise with clients in order to assist them become more independent. Access to community activities, resources, and services helped clients follow their interests and take care of their needs while facilitating community involvement. Assisted with mobility and provided direct care, such as showering, dressing, and toileting, all in line with the client’s care plan. Encouraging the client’s mental and physical activities by supporting them with domestic chores, hobbies, trips, and vacations.
Interests & Hobbies:
- Outdoor activities: Hiking, Camping, Fishing and Crabbing
- Sports: Volleyball, Badminton
- I also love dancing.
