As part of employment with Pearson Allied Health Services, we offer the following:

Minimum Requirements for our Staff

To be considered for a position in our Administration team, we require that prospective staff currently hold or will gain prior to commencing employment, the following:

  • A current Child Safe Environments certificate; and
  • A current Department for Communities and Social Inclusion Child Related Screening Clearance and Disability Services Employment Screening; and
  • A current First Aid Certificate; and
  • A current SA Driver’s Licence.

 

To be considered for a position in one of our Clinical teams, in addition to the above requirements of our Administration team, applicants must currently hold or will gain prior to commencing employment, the following:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification; and
  • A current membership to your relevant professional body or organisation; and
  • A current Responding to Abuse and Neglect Education and Care (RAN-EC) certificate.

Student Placement Opportunities

At Pearson Allied Health Services, we strongly believe that it is important for allied health students to have an opportunity to gain experience working in paediatrics or in the disability sector whilst completing their studies. To ensure we provide a high quality student placement, giving students an opportunity to experience as much as possible and receive the necessary support and supervision, we will only accept a small number of students at any one time.

Please note, in addition to our clinical student placements, Pearson Allied Health Services hires third and fourth year allied health students as part of our Mentor team. These are paid positions, providing students an opportunity to gain experience working with people with disabilities and an opportunity to develop their clinical skills through implementing therapist developed programs and strategies.
